For Friday funday we fancied something different. I somehow discovered you can use Facebook maps to look for places of interest, it uses people’s check ins and shows where most people have visited. Using this I found a zoo near to our next stopover.

Spaycific petting zoo was amazing, we arrived just in time for the bird feeding which saw Amy and Lucy get covered in budgies and cockatiels. The zoo was very hands on, with lots of interaction. We weren’t convinced their cages were very safe as lots of animals appeared loose but luckily they didn’t have many man eating animals. Lucy did cry her way through the goats as they circled her head butting her but then admitted it was the chicken that scared her the most!

The most fun came in the lemur enclosure where the fun monkeys clambered all over you, we had quite a laugh and got plenty of photos.

From the zoo we went to our stopover in Le Mans. As we pulled into the site we saw two vans leaving, very nervous it was full we were relieved to get the last space. We parked up quickly and then watched as other arrived and had to move on.

Le Mans was busy and fun.
