On we went to Spain today and to be honest I can’t remember the entire day as Silly Sunday did get silly with Spanish cocktails.

We set off heading to Girona and opted again to avoid tolls but the Pyrenees beat us and after a few near misses and hairy narrow lanes we changed the setting on truckman sat nav and paid the fees.

We arrived safely in Girona only to find the parking area full of gypsies so after a quick lunch break in a lay-by we moved on.

Lloret De Mar would be our destination for the night, an actual campsite right in the heart of the action. A few minute walk and we were on the beach, tat shop heaven in glorious sunshine.

Along the main strip we were spoilt for choice of beach bars, we opted for the one with the biggest looking cocktails which for me was a mistake as I was put to bed at 6:30pm.

Once I was tucked up in bed the others abandoned me and went out for pizza leaving Dug to guard me.
