Lac d’Orient to Disneyland Paris, France

An early get up and go saw us head to a family favourite, Disneyland.

We decided this year to renew our annual passes, minus our teenagers made the cost cheaper than previous times. Annual passes mean parking is free and we certainly abused the 20% off in shops, 10% in restaurants and free kennels 👍🏻
The first day saw us melt in 35 plus degrees, after a stein at happy hour in King Lugwigs by 18:00 we were ready for our air condoned restaurant booking at Inventions. Lucy thoroughly enjoyed the character dining and we tucked into the all you can eat buffet, Neil especially liking the moules and Parma ham.

The van was still 30 plus degrees when we arrived back having collected Rory from the animal day care centre. It remained that warm right through till a massive thunder storm which saw Rory land on top of Neil. A big scramble around closing hatched saw rain follow which thankfully cooled the van down.
The second day in the park started cooler with slight rain, this was good as it meant small queues and less locals.

We met up with a work colleague of mine along with her family, it was lovely for Lucy to have English speaking friends and we had a great day.
