Today we left one lake to head to another. Only a short drive and unusual for us we had a reservation at an actual campsite.
Just before lunch we arrived in Lac D’ Orient, Lucy was instantly excited with the view of a large swimming pool with flumes and slides- my idea of hell
The pool turned out alright as the depth of the kids pool meant we could sit in the convenient pool side bar while Lucy swam and went round on the slides for a few hours and a few pints of Stella!
When we managed to drag Lucy out of the water we strolled along a promenade over looking an amazing beach which was heaving both with people and wasps!
The campsite had advertised entertainment which we were sure would be great, signs all around made the evening disco sound un-missable, it was missable with a record player literally dumped in a courtyard, this did make us laugh.
During the evening a father son duo set up a stall giving out free Champagne samples, the pair spoke no English but somehow, although he needed no encouragement, they managed to sell Neil a magnum of champagne.
The disco came to life as we decided on an early night to wake early for Disneyland the next day. Luckily the sound of our cooling fans drowned out the YMCA.
