Plans for this year…

January is always a weird month for us and usually involves a few pub stopovers to ensure we are still using the van whilst most campers in the UK stay at home. We wish we could be somewhere sunny, but kids at school mean that isn’t going to happen for a few years. But January is also the time when we try to make plans for the year.

This year we hope to do three big tours, the Trilogy 2015, with Part One at Easter. This will then be followed by Part Two in the Summer and a third instalment coinciding with the October half term holiday. That way we always have a trip to look forward to that is not too far in the future.

Part One will be a blast down through France to the Mont Blanc Tunnel followed by overnight stops at touristy Italian cities, before crossing the Alps again via the Brenner Pass to hit southern Germany and then home.

Hard Rock Cafes will be on our agenda so Karrina can add to her souvenir glass collection. We are also conscious that the Italian leg of our trip will coincide with Easter, so we are expecting it to be a bit busy.

Below is a rough plan of what we might do at Easter, but this will inevitably change as I  further research potential locations.
